Gutter Installation Process

The first step to getting new gutters for your home, is to get an estimate. Our scheduler will work with you to determine a time that works best for you to meet with our estimator at your home. Our estimator will take measurements to determine the amount of gutter and downspout material that will be needed. He will also look at the height and slope of the roof and the amount and types of trees nearby. The estimate takes about 30 minutes.

Back at the office, our estimator will draw up all neceassary measurements on the bid sheet and then email the completed bid over to you – usually by the next business day. If there are any questions or concerns with the estimate, our estimator will be happy to discuss as needed. Once the estimate is approved by you, we will schedule the work to be done. Depending on the time of year, this could be from a few days to a few weeks away.

On installation day, you will be given a two hour timeframe for the installation crew to arrive. Once onsite, they will begin tearing off the old gutter. The new gutter is then “run-out” from a machine in long sections and installed with hidden hangers. Once all the gutter, downspout and leaf catchers are installed, the crew will clean up the area and head out. Depending on the size of the job, the installation time can take 2-6 hours.
